“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”
I pretty much live and breathe music and I am listening it all day long. Whether it is on my TV on the music station or if it's my playlist on my computer; there's always some sort of music going. I even sometimes plug-in my MP3 player at night and fall asleep listening to it. What wakes me is the uncomfortable of the earphones and or if my MP3 player shuts off on me or dies. I usually wake up with part of the lyric in my head and I end up falling back asleep with the song stuck in my head; even when I wake up in the morning sometimes there is a song stuck in my head and I don't know where it came from. At times, all signs point to a good day when that happens; which isn't very often. Music puts damper days and lifts them up and it's a great thing how it can get you through the hard times just by simple lyrics - it can mean so much and have so much power.
I'm just a simple girl in a big world wanting to live her dreams and hopefully make them come true.
I love the rock music and rock scene; if I could relate to the lyrics and the lyrics grab my attention along with great beats - I'll listen it.
Over the years, my music playlist grew way to much over the time. It just shows on how much passion and a devoted music fan I am. My playlist as of now, consists of ~4,000 songs and it just continues to grow each day and includes over 70 artistes.
Over the last couple of years since I started to go to concerts, I've met many artists along the way and they are all rad in each and own way. Some artists I've met more than once and even though they don't seem to remember me, I'm somehow okay with it.
Fact - My first concert was back in 2006. I was 16 years old, a senior in High School and I went to Fall Out Boy's Black Cloud and Underdog tour on May 12th 2006 at Stade Uniprix in Montreal Quebec. They had on tour with them:
- From First to Last (When Sonny Moore was the singer - bless him and what he went through at a young age and all that surgery. Before you say anything, I am not a dub step fan but, Skrillex is my favorite and I'll continue to support his music career.)
- The All-American Rejects
- Hawthorne Heights
- October Falls
"Life is like a camera lens. Focus only on what's important & you'll capture it perfectly."I love photography and I want to and will hopefully become a professional photographer over time. I like to capture the moment and have it speak out to the viewer. I'm still in a work in progress with it all, but I believe I can do it.
One day you'll see my name on bands promo pictures or even pictures from the pit for some sort of media work; mark my word on that one! I'll make it in no time.
Basically anything in the photography industry I'm willing do anything as long it lands me good on my feet. I dream big at times and I'm not afraid to say so. The art industry may be a corrupt industry and all pure competition; I'm willing to take the risk and try. It's better to try then say you didn't and wonder "what if..."Life can be complicated and cruel but, that's what it's all about and it leaves us obstacles for what we may not like and it helps us to continue to grow as a person.
Music and photography is my escape from the 'real' world. It can be expressed in so many different ways; there's no right or wrong way since everyone sees things differently and that's the beauty of it.
